Get started with Angle

Set up Angle and get the Angle Agent live on your storefront.

This guide helps you get Angle live on your Shopify store.

Setup checklist

Most stores can start with three steps:

  1. Install Angle
  2. Enable Angle on your theme
  3. Check your training content

Step 1: Open Angle in Shopify

After installing Angle, open the app from your Shopify admin.

You will land in the Angle dashboard. The Home page shows your setup progress and early milestones.

Step 2: Enable Angle on your theme

Angle needs to be enabled in your Shopify theme before shoppers can see it.

Go to your theme editor and make sure the Angle app embed is turned on. Then save your theme.

For detailed steps, see:

Step 3: Check your product sync

Angle learns from your Shopify catalog. Your products need to sync before Angle can recommend them properly.

Open the Training page and check the Catalog section.

If your catalog is still syncing, wait for it to finish. Larger catalogs can take longer.

Step 4: Add helpful training content

Angle can answer more accurately when your store has useful training content.

Start with the questions shoppers already ask your team:

  • Shipping questions
  • Return policy questions
  • Product care instructions
  • Size or fit guidance
  • Material or ingredient details
  • Product comparison guidance

Add those as Q&As or articles in the Knowledge Base.

You can improve this over time. Start with the questions shoppers already ask most often.

Step 5: Review your first conversations

Once shoppers start using Angle, open Conversations to see what they asked and how Angle responded.

This helps you find:

  • Missing product details
  • Unclear policies
  • Repeated shopper questions
  • Product discovery issues

What success looks like

Your first setup is working when:

  • The Angle Agent appears on your storefront
  • Your products are synced
  • Your basic policies or Q&As are available
  • Shoppers can ask questions and get useful answers
